Cookie Policy

The current SOLONPORT corporate website does not configure analytics, advertising or behavioural-marketing cookies. Core pages, local images and local videos can be viewed without accepting optional cookies.

Hosting and security infrastructure receives standard technical request information, such as IP address, request time, browser details and the requested URL. Restricted Nginx logs are also used to generate an internal aggregate GoAccess report without adding browser storage or a public analytics script. IP addresses are anonymised before they appear in that report. These server records are described in the Privacy Notice and are not an advertising-cookie profile.

If a cookie or similar browser-storage item becomes necessary for security, load balancing, session continuity or remembering a privacy choice, it will be limited to that purpose. Technology strictly required to provide a service requested by the visitor is not used for unrelated analytics or marketing.

Some editorial pages offer YouTube video content using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. The YouTube player is not loaded when the page first opens. A connection to YouTube begins only after the visitor chooses to load or play that external content.

Once activated, YouTube or Google may process technical information and use cookies or similar storage under their own terms. Visitors who do not want this connection can leave the player inactive. Local SOLONPORT videos do not require a YouTube connection.

LinkedIn, event-organiser, news, partner and research links open services outside the SOLONPORT website. Those services decide their own cookie and privacy practices. Following an external link is optional and is governed by the destination service’s notices.

You can inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage, if introduced, may prevent a requested security or session function from working. Because the current website does not activate optional analytics or advertising cookies, it does not presently display a general “accept all” cookie banner.

If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage is introduced later, it must not be activated before the required choice mechanism and this policy are updated.
